Meat Box/Irachi petti z a Malabar dish...Got this recipe frm my dear friend safeeraatha :)
1---Ingredients -For the pancake:-
maida 3/4 cup
egg 1
water
salt
blend it all&make a smooth batter[like dosa batter]
2---Ingredients for Filiing:-
Chikn-8-9pieces
Coriander powder-1/2tespn
Ginger choped-1/4tespn
Turmeric powder-1/4tespn
garlic pices-2no
1 Cook chikn with coriander powder+Tumeric-powder+Salt+ginger pices+garlic pieces
2 wen its done shred it and keep it aside
3---Prepartion of Masala
Onion-2no
ginger chopped-1tespn
Garlic-1tespn
g chilly-1no choped
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves-1spring
Chillyp-1/2tespn
Turmericp-1/4tespn
Garam Masala-1tespn
Oil
1 in a pan add oil,saute onion til transparent
2 then add ginger+garlic+g chilly+curry leaves and saute for few mins
3 Add all powders & mix well
4 then add shreded chikn+choped coriander leaves
4--- For dipping :- make egg mixture with
1egg+salt+curry leaves+coriander leaves &mix it well
METHOD
1 FIRST Prepare the pancake
2 pour some batter in a hot frying pan
3 rotate it,,make it like dosa,,no need to turn the other side,,,
4 in a plate spread little oil with ur hand and transfer the pancake on it
5 Place the filling and then fold from four sides just like a box.[Refer pic]
6 now heat a fry pan ,,add some ghee,, dip the pancake box in egg mixture and shallow fry both the sides
Serve hot with tomato Ketchup
