Irachi Kizhi !

Irachi kizhi stuffed with chicken filling....my first attempt n it came out well...


Ingredients-Filiing:-

Chikn-8-9pieces
Coriander powder-1/2tespn
Ginger choped-1/4tespn
Turmeric powder-1/4tespn
garlic pices-2no

1 Cook chikn with corainder powder+Turmeric-powder+Salt+ginger pices+garlic pieces
2 wen its done shred it and keep it aside

For the Masala

Onion-2no

Green colord capsicum-1no chopped
ginger chopped-1tespn
Garlic-1tespn
green chilly-1no choped
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves-1spring
Kashmiri Chillypowder-1/2tespn
Turmeric powder-1/4tespn
Garam Masala-1tespn
Oil



 Method:-

1 in a pan add oil,saute onion til transparent
2 then add ginger+garlic+green chilly+curry leaves and saute for few mins
3 Add all powders & mix well
4 then add shreded chikn+chopped coriander leaves


Ingredients -For the Dough:-

All purpose flour/Maida-1cup
Salt-needed
normal water-needed
Food color-For the ribbon (Optional)

Method:-

Mix flour with salt n knead it woith enough water lyk chappathi dough
Then take smll ball frm the dough n roll it to small circle n place the filing
then shape it lyk kizhi-refer pic

Same way make a colored dough(Flour+normal water+enough salt +food color-a pinch) n roll it n cut it to smal stripes
then tie  dat strips in the kizhi..refer pic



Afterdat fry it in oil till goldn brown color
