Uluva Kanji !

Uluva kanji/Fennugreek flavoured rice soup is our traditional ifthar special dish...



Ingredients:-

Uluva-1tbspn soaked in 1/4c of water for 1hr
Brocken rice/podi ari-1 1/2c
Salt
Grated cocnut-/2c
Shallots/small onion-3no
Cumin/nalla jeeragam-1/4tespn
Green  Chilly-1no
Turemric powder-1/4tespn

Method:-


1 Grind cocnut+cumin+sml onion+turmeric p +g chilly.. to fine paste and keep it aisde
2 Cook Brocken rice with uluva & enough water
3 When its done,add grinded coconut mixture to rice
4 When it starts boiling,remove from fire n serve hot !!!
