Ingredients:
chicken-1/2kg (cut into medium pieces)
onion-3 (chopped)
green chilli-2(chopped)
Red chilli powder-1 tbsp(Kashmiri)
coriander powder-3/4 tsp
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
garam masala-1tsp
ginger/garlic paste-1 tbsp
salt
curry leaves-few
oil
coconut milk-1/2 cup each(both thin &thick one)
coriander leaves-few
pepper powder-1/4tspn
cashew nuts-10 (soaked &make it as paste)
water-as needed
method:
1 Marinate the chicken with turmeric pwd,salt&kept it for
30mins.
2 Nw take pan &put red chilli pwd,coriander pwd,garam
masala pwd,&roast well until it turn to brown colour(dnt
burn).switch off the fire.
3 Nw marinate this roasted powder into the chicken
pieces.kept it for 10m.
4 Nw heat oil in pan &add onion green chillies,ginger/garlic
paste &curry leaves saute well until it turn into golden
brown colour.
5 Add marinated chicken pieces with enough salt.mix well
with onion den close the lid &cook well.
6 stir well the chicken time to time when it is half cooked
add thin coconut milk (half cup )&pepper pwd.
7 cooked well until the quantity of milk become half
&reduced.
8 Nw add thick coconut milk &cashew nut paste mix
well .
9 Finally add coriander leaves&remove from fire.serve hot
with chappathi &roti.
